“The surrealist painters believed that the seemingly irrational world of dreams and dream actions was just as vital and
important as the world of waking consciousness. These dream images were called “surreal”, or above the real” . I created a surreal image intended to bring across the idea of urbanization and development and the impact it has on the environment around us as well as how it affects the youth of today.
